For the better part of the last 50 years, 43 Front Street has been home to one of Greenport's closely held treasures: Burton's Bookstore. With owner and proprietor, Scott Raulsome, at the helm, Burton's Bookstore has flourished into the quaint and lovely bookstore it is today.

Our collection caters to all audiences. We carry works of Fiction and Non-Fiction alike. We have sections on Cooking, Historical Events, Nautical History, Poetry, and the classics.

Our store is family friendly! There's no better time to introduce your young ones to the joys of reading. We have a full section devoted to Children's books as well as young adults.
